Evidences about something "weird" in the gold markets are increasing. We were among the first to scream about gold manipulation in Spanish language.GATA website is so loaded with evidences enough to hide the sun.
The epic events about gold manipulation in 2008-2010 with the CFTC hearings , the "Andrew Maguire scandal" were not even mentioned in Latin America mainstream media.
All these events were documented in the ebook Aurum-Argentum ( Spanish edition).
We made a youtube video to show that in those days back in 2010 there was total silence about the US gold scandal . The video is called "Blog Reymidas Video 23: Manipulación del oro III: SILENCIO TOTAL " (Gold Manipulation III: Total Silence). And it is our living proof of total silence by the media in Argentina regarding gold scandal of 2010.
Now I read with surprise that the top #1 newspaper in Argentina ( Diario Clarín) mentions "unusual gold fixing mechanisms" today. It is written in its "Ieco" edition ( sunday economics supplement).
The article written by the UK-based The Guardian for Clarin takes notice that the american CFTC is investigating Gold price fixing in London.
The article briefly explains that big banks fix gold price on a daily basis (Barclays,Deustche Bank,HSBC; Nova Scotia and Societé Generale).
The article goes no further "potentially" relating the Libor Scandal with London Gold fixing which its beginning is dated in 1919.
End of story there and no further questioning. At least the topic of gold manipulation has arrived to mainstream media in Argentina.
The article (3 /17/2013) is called ¿ El oro puede ser el nuevo Libor?
( Could gold be the new Libor?)
Hey...the topic was "mentioned" at the least...
Let´s see if they dare to discuss more about gold fixing in the future.

Have a nice week.
